This article explains how to generate QR codes and print voter credentials for in-person elections.
To begin, QR codes can only be generated after the electoral event has been validated. The electoral event is validated by selecting "send credentials" and following the steps outlined in this article.
From the accreditation management menu, select the electoral event. Next, search for the voter by entering username or first or last name in the proper search bar.
To generate the QR code, click on to the right of the selected name. A drop-down menu will open with multiple actions available. Click on “Credential printing"
A window will open with new credentials and a QR code containing the link to the login page.
Finally, click "Print" in the bottom right corner to either print the credentials or scan the code directly from the screen.
NOTE: Each time this screen is displayed (i.e., after clicking on “print credentials” from the menu) new credentials will be created and invalidate those previously printed or e-mailed.
