This article introduces the Eligo free registration form, a feature that, when active, allows eligible voters to sign up autonomously for an election, streamlining the process of collecting their required data.
This module can be used to:

Allow users to autonomously sign up for an electoral event;

Collect useful information (e.g., name, email, tax code, affiliated organization, etc.);
-
Automatically manage access to the Eligo platform only for those who have completed registration.
Configuration of the Registration Page
Log in to the Eligo backoffice as an administrator and create the electoral event for which registration will be required.
It is not necessary to upload a defined list of voters, as anyone who receives the registration link will be able to proceed. The email used for registration will correspond to the username.
From the event bar, click on REGISTRATION FORM.

The standard screen will appear with the fields necessary for registration:

You can choose which information to ask users for, based on the voting requirements:

First Name and Last Name;

Email: this will be necessary to receive voting credentials;

"Info" field which can be used to ask for additional information (role, territory, etc.).
Every label can be customized, including the title of the registration form. To do this, simply click on the dedicated icon

It is possible to make the First Name and Last Name, Email, and Info fields verifiable. In the latter case, Eligo checks that the pre-loaded data matches the data entered by the registering user, and, if they do not match, the users will be added as new voters.

Once the registration page is configured, it is possible to copy the registration link from the appropriate button in the upper right corner:

After both the electoral event and the configuration page are ready, it is possible to click on VALIDATE DATA. From this moment on, it will be possible to start registering.

From this point, you can manage the vote itself, being able to open, suspend, close, and scrutinize it, keeping in mind that the registration process will be open until the closure of the electoral event.
User-Side Registration
The user will need to access the link that has been publicly shared by the organization and fill in all the required data, and finally click on the REGISTER button:

They will receive a confirmation message, and at the same time, the credentials to access the vote will be sent to the email provided during the registration phase.

Once the registration is complete, the administrator can check from the backoffice for any changes to the non-verified fields by Eligo, which were updated directly by the user at the time of registration. To do this, simply click on "manage voters" from the event bar:
